After the recent successful launched game The Witcher 3, which was the winner of the Game Awards this year, CD Projekt RED has another major ‘projekt’ currently being developed by the studio. We’re talking about the upcoming acting RPG video game – Cyberpunk 2077 – that it’s thought to come up somewhere in 2017, though the exact release date is still unknown yet.
The studio representative members claim that all they revealed to the public so far, which is the teaser to the game, was mostly to see what would be the fans’ reaction towards this new approach, and surprisingly it was a very positive reaction, so this might motivate them to bring out another awesome game, maybe something beyond The Witcher series.
The game’s story is placed in the future, in a dystopian world actually, but split into two parts involving the ultra-modern and advanced technology, and the other one being the degenerate human society, a total opposite to progress.
The game features a lot of options; it aims to be a mature approach of gaming, with plenty customization option of the players linked directly to the plot, and it will have both first-person and third-person perspectives.
But anyway, CD Projekt RED claimed that they’re still working on The Witcher 3, and the time for Cyberpunk 2077 has not come yet, therefore all we can do is wait for more information from them coming up, even if it’s presumed to be launched, maybe, in 2017.
So, here you have the trailer below, enjoy!
