Donatello, Michelangelo, Leonardo and Raphael aka The Ninja Turtles, are back to save the town again from another threat. The first trailer of the movie was published today, along with an image gallery revealing some funny scenes, but also some serious actions of fighting against the two mutants Bebop and Rocksteady.
The mutants make us laugh especially because of their looks; their costumes and hairstyles would make them resemble more with fans of some disco/rock band in the ‘70s/‘80s. But all these funny moments end when Bebop and Rocksteady start to act threateningly. Another thing coming from the ‘80s is the Turtle’s car, which makes you think that the ghost hunters would come out of it.
The trailer opens up with a threatening perspective and with the typical metallic grinding by Michael Bay (now as a producer).
In terms of special effects J.D. Schwalm is the one who’s in charge of this, being the man who supervised the effects for The Jungle Book, Ted 2, Wolverine and Star Trek Into Darkness.
Tsvetomir Georgiev, one of the special effects artists from the Aaron Sims company, is the one who made the concept images for the mutants Bebop and Rocksteady – these characters that should have been in the first movie, also.
Among the productions that had Aaron Sims to work on, there are the following: Edge of Tomorrow, Noah, Maleficent, World War Z, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.
