About Game

The game is a sequel to Dune II, built on a game engine similar to Westwood’s Command & Conquer: Red Alert. Set on the planet Arrakis, the game features three warring Houses: the Atreides, the Harkonnen, and the Ordos. The game features live-action cutscenes before missions begin. According to the game’s plot, Emperor Frederick Corrino IV has decreed that the House that produces the most spice will control its source—the planet Dune—without any restrictions on how this is achieved. In the game, players take control of one of the three Houses, which they must lead in a struggle for control of the spice on Arrakis, or Dune. Players harvest spice to earn “solarium,” the game’s currency used to produce combat units.
